4) The bloodstain on the floor indicates the place where Deon's body was found. He allegedly stormed his attacker, but slipped after he was shot and fell over. He ended up here and was later executed

5) The crime scene where all three bodies were found. The bloodstain in the foreground indicates the place where Deon's body was found, while the bloodstains in front of the couch and just to the left of the breakfast nook are where Christel and Marthella were discovered

8) This photograph was taken on the evening of the murders outside the Griekwastad Police Station. The boy handed the murder weapons, a .357 Magnum revolver and a .22 rifle, over to the police. They were left on the backseat of Deon Steenkamp's white Isuzu van

9) A bloody handprint was discovered on the side of Jan Koopman's white Nissan 1400 bakkie. He testified that he had cut his hand while trying to fix the vehicle's engine after it broke down on the gravel road leading into Griekwastad

10) This arcing blood spatter was found to the right of the kitchen door and on the outside of the Steenkamp house. Marthella allegedly made this after she was shot, when blood was flowing down her arm. According to Captain Marius Joubert, the girl most likely swung her arm in an attempt to balance herself, resulting in blood being transferred onto the wall

11) This bloodstain shows where Marthella steadied herself and most likely rested for a while on her way back inside the house. On the breakfast nook in the background are the family's dirty plates from their last meal together

12) On the right is Marthella's bloody handprint, most likely left before she attempted to phone for help. Her blood was found on the telephone's receiver, which she most likely picked up with her left hand. She never got the chance to dial

13) This is the place outside where Marthella was brutally assaulted after she fled the house. According to the first responders there was much more blood, but it was congealed and the family dogs were eating it
